WikiWikiWeb are well knows tool to exchange experiences and knowledge with people. Anyone can write here his ideas and his experiences like a Forum.But, the most noticeable difference is that a Wiki are always "subject-oriented": every person that write here must make a little effort, to choose the correct page where write one's mind, or create a new page if any page don't suit his need. But also in this case, the person need to put a link in another existing page. So any content, any ideas, any note will not be lost forever. This is a great deal better than Forum: you can help the community to make a well mantained, always updated site, where the informations are simply to find and to read (also for newbye, maybe). Repetitive task don't exist, but a continuos improvement of the matters exposed are the basic target. On the other hand is not a good place where write greeting and wishes.
On this site you can write about Desktop CNC Mill and Lathe. You can post questions, suggestion, and projects about this matter.
I have received my first MAXNC 15 on past week (June 2003), and I was starting to setup my new toys. I had unpack my MAXNC, placed it on the table and then I was starting to post a lot of questions to myself .... For some of these I've found answers in the various Forum (like http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MaxNC-users/ )but the infos was scattered in a huge sea of words. So I've decided to set up this Wiki site, and start to drop down my personal experiences with MAXNC. Maybe (and I hope) that someone will can find these notes useful.
